Meet the Leaders - Director Tim McKitrick
Thank you for visiting the Ministers Alliance Web site.
As the new director of Ministerial Relations, I am looking forward to the opportunity to further develop the Ministers Alliance and assist ministers.
Originally from Canada, I started off with a degree in Music Education, and then built a music store in Brandon, Manitoba. In 1989, I moved my family to Tulsa so I could accept a position with a Fortune 150 company in sales and sales management, and also begin work on a master’s degree at ORU. I have been involved in various aspects of ministry for over 25 years, and completed my M.A. in Practical Theology in 1997. I also enjoyed spending a few years in the advertising and media industry, working with organizations that serve international media ministries. For the past year, I have served as director of Alumni Relations at ORU, and was asked in June 2006 to take over as director of Ministerial Relations.
I have a passion for connecting ministers and facilitating ministry, so it is with great anticipation that I look forward to what God has in store for the ORU Ministers Alliance. It is my earnest desire to help ministers tap into ORU’s resources and each other’s strengths. I appreciate the challenges you face and the dreams you dream. As President Richard Roberts said, we want ORU to be “a resource center for pastors and ministers--for filling staff vacancies, continuing education, and personal ministry.”
Please let me know how we can be of service to you.
Sincerely,
Tim McKitrick
Director of Ministerial Relations
